Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year is an upcoming Bollywood film directed by Shimit Amin and produced by Yash Raj Films. Screenplay of the film is by Jaideep Sahni, who has also collaborated with Shimit Amin for Chak De! India. Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year is about a salesman named Rocket Singh. The Sikh guy, who is good in his work slowly turns into a conman and begins to operate a parallel company within the same company he is working without the knowledge of others. His deals forms the story of the film. The film is slated to be released on 11 December 2009.

Wake Up Sid is a forthcoming Hindi romantic comedy film that stars Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles. Produced under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions [2], distributed by UTV Motion Pictures and directed by debutante Ayaan Mukherjee, who earlier was assistant director of Ashutosh Gowariker in Swades and Karan Johar in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. The movie is scheduled to release on October 2, 2009. This is the story of Siddharth Mehra (Ranbir Kapoor), a lazy, unmotivated slacker from Mumbai whose life undergoes a series of changes after taking his final year college exams. Sid's world is breezy, carefree, and without any true responsibilities. The most important elements in his life are his friends, his camera, his car, and his Playstation 3.
