The movie opens up with Harry Potter, an orphan raised badly by his aunt Petunia and uncle Vernon. Harry on his 11th birthday discovers that he is a famous wizard belonging to the magical world under secrecy. He joins Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardary and learns more about magical world. Also Harry along with Ronald Weasley and Hermoine prevent Voldemort from conquering Philosopher's stone safeguarded in Hogwarts.
